Operation Christmas Child...

Every year, we participate in Operation Christmas Child. It is a program that sends shoeboxes around the world for kids. We support local programs but we think it is also important to help others around our globe. Children do not get to choose where they are born! It is simply our job to help and love!!

Tyler's Football Awards

Tyler was so excited to get his trophy ! I remember Chase would sleep with his for the first few days.

Final Football Game...GOOOOO Indians!

I have been dreading this night for a while now! My ENTIRE life since Chase has been alive has been sports...so this is really difficult to have this come to an end. I am not ready for the new era yet. We started off our evening as usual, with our faithful fans..tailgating around a pot of G's delicious chili. We went in early to see the boys warm up for the last time. I was getting emotional then. I must apologize...I did not get any actions shots, I was watching the game with all my attention and the few I did take...they were blurry since I got excited!

All 18 seniors were captains, that was a nice touch!

All of my cheers and yells were slowly fading at this point. The clock seemed to be ticking SO fast yet so slow and I watched my son just sit and observe, probably enjoying the moment one last time...I was crying when I took this as well as the one below of Evan.... as if he is holding it one last time.

We won :) and they had a great time. Of course, Chase and Evan went straight for each other....

This was Coach Hartley's last game as well. I am so blessed that he has been in Chase's life.....He told me once, "ya know, your not suppose to have favorites BUT that Chase and Evan, they're my boys"

They are simply heartbreaking and more so if you were there...they squinty eyes and tears were hard to witness..true friends forever---our families are forever intertwined!!

HAPPY 15th SIS!!!!!!!!!!

Wow!! Sis is 15!! We had planned to do something on Caitlin's birthday but a football play-off game kinda messed that up. So we did on Sunday instead. I had secretly contacted 2 of her best friends from Palatka and her boyfriend to see if they could join us at Chili's for dinner. It was a great surprise!

Afternoon of the HC dance........ I was in the process of doing sis's hair when I looked down at her nails...UGH! This is a normal ordeal. Her nails always look horrible and I always do them. However....I can not do hair and nails at the same time SOOOOO, the greatest big brother stepped in!!
