Running 26.2 for Breast Cancer

John decided that he wanted to do a marathon and this was for a great cause. He was running of Gilda Kinsey...she is my mom at work. She is very special to our entire family!! Sooooo, we went to Jacksonville the night before so that we would be close. So we were down in the lobby at 4:50am and the shuttle had just left so we waited for another one. More and more people came and we were getting a little nervous that we would get there in time. This was on the bus on the way to the start line.

This is at the 6 mile mark.....Go honey!!! I was with Chloe and Emily Dooley and were cheering and making noise for the runner...what an amazing sight.

This is at the 20 MILE MARK------------he was hurting!!!! He was running a 9:30 mile and he started to cramp at mile 18!!!!!!!!!!

Coming up on the finish line........

He finished in 4 hours and 41 minutes!!!!!!!!!!!! Unbelievable! I am so proud!

Wiped out.........

I am soooooooooo happy for John! He can check it off his bucket list. Except his has plans for next year. I am going to do the half marathon next year..anyone want to join me????
