Vacation Bible School

Our church had VBS this week! Chase was a crew leader. The kids loved him so much!! John and I helped out too! We had a great time being there. If you are wondering where Cait and Ty are in our pics, well....they were hanging at the beach with Angie. Tyler was bummed that he was not able to come."Of all weeks", he said!! He asked if he could ask his mom about coming while they were on vacation at the beach for a day or two. We told him that would be a lot of driving and maybe next year. We talked to them today and they had fun with their mom!
Chase, we are very proud of your leadership and compassion!
Look at those amazing leaders!
They were demonstrating they way God helped the Israelites across the Red Sea.

Chase and John working hard

Chase is getting John's truck for his 16th birthday! YIKES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He and John are working on getting it ready for a new paint job buy taking off both bumpers, grill, lights etc. He has been wet sanding it and preparing it for paint. After this week, he will not see the truck until his birthday! We are going to "Pimp His Ride" and surprise him with the finished product. It is a very emotional project! I can't believe it's that time already! More to come......
"How many more bolts are holding on this bumper?"

Chase is turning wrenches and working hard!

In Sweet, Loving Memory of Ryan Rossano

In Sweet, Loving Memory of Ryan! Last night after a long fight with cancer, Ryan went home to be with Jesus. Ryan has been very special to our family since Chase and Robbie were in T-ball. Chase was lucky to have such a wonderful "big brother" in his life. I will never forget how polite, sweet and kind Ryan was to everyone. I will miss ,most of all, his huge smile that he gave me everytime he saw me and it was followed by "Hey Pretty Lady"! Please pray for the entire family--just not in these next few days but in weeks and months to come! My mind can not wrap around the feelings that they must be having! I love this picture below. It was on Ryan's 23rd birthday, just this past May, at the Spring football game! He looked great! We will miss Ryan but he will never be forgotten!

Happy Birthday America!!!

John and I decided to do a huge American flag in honor of our country! It turned out great! Everyone loved it!

The boys were trying to get attention from the people passing by! Having a balcony is always fun :)

Caitlin is painting Maddie's nails! That was a fun experience.

I am lovin' on Chase! He is so sweet! I love ya bub!!! ;)

John is cookin' us up some amazing hamburgers and hotdogs for dinner! They were yummy!

The kids ate some ice cream while waiting for the fireworks to start!

John was our offical sparkler lighter!

The fireworks over the ocean was so awesome! None of us had ever been to the beach for the 4th, so it was new for all of us. It was especially neat with the full moon right next to the fireworks. We had a wonderful night with our kids and that was a great way to end our vacation.
