Varsity Baseball Banquet

The varsity banquet as a nice way to wrap up the season. It was a great evening. The next three pictures are of boys that Chase has played ball with since elementary school.

Chase and his twin, Colten

Beautiful Boys.....

I'm not sure what I could possibly say about these two pictures.....Districts Champs!

One of my all time favorites.....the four of us have been through so much together--on and off the fields. I love our boys!

Powder Puff 2010...Juniors Rule!

In Keystone, there is an annual powder puff game... the boys are the coaches and cheerleaders and the girls are the players. There is a strong rival between Juniors and Seniors. The seniors have won the past 4 years...Well, they broke the streak! The coaches were great, the girls killed it and the cheerleaders were very entertaining.

Caitlin's Soccer

Caitlin finished up her soccer season. Her team did not do to great but she improved with each game. She played hard and gave it her best. It was fun to cheer her on!!!

Channel 4 All Star Student- Athlete of the Week

Chase got a call that he was chosen as Student All Star Athlete of the Week. The criteria is excellent grades, outstanding athletic performance and community involvement. Someone nominated Chase and they choose him. I could not be prouder! He went to the news station and did a 10 minute interview that will be cut down to about 3 mins. They will let us know the week that his interview will be aired. It will also be available online for those out of town! :) I'm so happy for him!
CHASE......YOU ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mema (John's g-ma) with Caitlin

I love our parents...

Mother's Day

Being a mom...is the single most important title to me. I've had it for 17 1/2 years now---almost half my life. I have so much still to learn and I hope that Chase will look back and know that I was not always perfect and probably did not handle certain situations correctly but my love for him always guided my actions. Teenage years are very trying and I've spent a lot of it on my knees. I would not change my life for anything..I am who I am and proud of it. God has allowed me to be a mom and I take that seriously.....I LOVE my family...all of them!!! I thank God that I am a bonus mom to Cait and Ty..they've changed my life for the better. I'm honored to be parenting beside John. He is an amazing role model to our children and their friends!

We started out at the Oasis for breakfast.I got so lucky to have the kids on Mother's Day. Their mom was out of town and so they stayed with us until that evening. We had the best food. I got a new pair of Reef Flips and Oakley Sunglasses! They are so pretty but it makes me nervous having something so expensive on my face. It was VERY thoughtful and I will do my best to take good care of them.

My mom is a great 'G'! She is very caring and loving towards everyone! We appreciate all that she does for our family.

Chase had prom the night before so he slept a lot of the time.

Cait is catching some good waves..

Honey was ripping it up :)

the ride home....

Check out my new Oakley shades....way too expensive for my face and I will do my best to take care of them.

On our way home, we stopped by meme's house! They are so great too! We are lucky to have 2 sets of great parents.

Regional Play-offs

Regional play-offs started in KH on Friday night. Chase was to start on the mound. We were playing Episcopal- private school out of Jax. There were hundreds of people. The entire town came out to support the boys. It was not a good game. Our boys were off, the umps made some stinky calls etc.....It was a heartbreaker....especially for the seniors!

After the game, there were hugs and tears. Below you will see pictures that are filled with emotion. You might not know these boys but you can feel their saddness.

Chase walked out to left field just sobbing. My heart was in a million pieces for him. I know he wanted to win for him but more for his senior buddies. It was heart wrenching... This was one of the few times I've seen his dad go out and comfort Chase...even harder to watch! I know it meant a lot.

Boys just enjoying their last time on the field.....

Thank you boys for a wonderful, exciting season! We had so much fun watching!
