Tough Times....

So about 10 mins ago, I got home from school and was going through the mail. In the mail was Chase's senior proofs that we had taken. It knocked me over....not sure why! I was ok when he was taking them-on my bday none the less but looking at them in my hand got the best of me. They are beautiful and he is mine........a gift that God sent to all of us. Wow!

I will try to scan them:)

I've sat with you ....worked with you..laughted with you...cried with you.....

"It will be 5 mins on fries!", "What color gatorade?", "plain or peanut?" "no, sorry NO SPRITE!", "just pepsi products, No Coke!" Just a few lines to remember!

WOW..who would have ever thought this would be here so quickly...weren't we just playing on Saturdays for Pop Warner. Our last evening in the football concession stand. The night would never end. I missed Kim but we understand. K and I are trying to take it in stride and enjoy the moments and not to harp on the end but it is still in my mind.We are crazy for our kids and we cheer the same way!I know some are not like this but I would rather be ME! As a side note--it is sometimes crazy to me that people will go nuts for their college team but not for there own flesh and blood...i am not ashamed, I will wear my #7 and my Chase shirts and lose my mind during a game---that is how it should be :) ....its ok if you don't. This week will be the last time our boys play in Union....they have been playing on that field since elementary school. We have raised awesome boys and I am so thankful that God brought the Harvey bunch back to KH. It has been a fun ride. I LOVE your children! You love my son like your own..i know you love me UNCONDITIONALLY and have excepted John and the kids as the same. I am looking forward to our months together! K~ Please come to the gym to visit me during basketball season:)

My Friend.......

Today is my birthday but also Nancy and Ronnie's anniversary! It was a hard day! They had a true marriage....one that was loyal, loving and just so real. They were not all lovey-dovey and kissy-kissy. However, without a shadow of a doubt....they were solemates. He would take care of everything and was the true meaning of the Man of the house and Nancy was the wife that took care of her family. I would talk to Ronnie for about 10-15 before even talking to Nanc. We would talk separtely---Nancy would say what a loyal, honest loving man she had and Ronnie would tell me what a GEM he had in a wife. I miss him DAILY! I love this picture of them! That's all I can say right now......my heart hurts
Heaven is lucky...pray for my Friend and her boys!

Bully Program at MRE

Our school was having a tailgate party to kick off our Fuel Up and Play60 that is sponsored by the NFL and Jags. We also are starting an anti-bullying program and we got some student athletes from the HS. So I got to spend a few hours with some of my favorite kid. The teenagers were SO good with the kids. We are going to have the teenagers come back and speak at a leadership assembly that will be for our 5 & 6 graders.

Ty with the girls...... He was the envy of his male classmates!

These are some of the best teenagers EEEEEEVVVVVEEERRRRRR!

Happy 18th Chase!

When Jeff got his first tattoo and Chase was in Kindergarten.......that is when it started! I promised him on his 5th birthday that when he turned 18 that he and I would go together and get a tattoo on his birthday..NO MATTER what, jsut he and I. SOOOOO guess what...He is 18 and we went to get our tattoos! What a special that was for me. I loved sharing that day and moment with him. It have been 13 years in the making. Kenny, the artist, was awesome! Chase did so great and he did very well for his first one...noticed I said first...we are all planning a family tree tattoo--possibly at Christmas, chase mentioned to me and John if we would do it with him--Heck yeah!! :)

Mine is on my left rib cage....it was painful BUt worth every second! My life's goal is for HIM to greater than me and guide my life!!!

That evening,Chase went to dinner with his friends to finish off his evening! Hopefully, it was all he thought it would be and more.

Chase~ You are all I could EVER want in a son. You are THE best part of me. You make my days happier! I LOVE your smile/grin. Your sense of humor is amazing!! I have enjoyed so much being your mom! From watching you from the stands to your grades...to your caring personality and for your LOVE OF JESUS! I am so blessed and lucky for you to call me MOM. You are my world and all the fills it. I know this year ahead holds many decisions. But know that no matter what school you choose or where you go...I alone am YOUR #1 FAN!Keep God -FIRST! I am here always! I love you....to infinity and beyond~JAC

Finally...Friday Night Lights

The Indians first game....Hawthorne Hornets! It was SO exciting!!!!!
I love this picture of the helmet with Chase in the background...kickoff
Ok......these next series of photos were when Chase caught a pass and the guy held his facemask for 15 yards AT LEAST. Chase just drug him along. He had the ball so far away from the other guy. There was not a flag thrown since the ref said that at one point Chase grabbed his too. It was a crazy game!
Chasey got a TD right before the half to up us up...that was the game changer---way to go Chase and Evan!!!
I just saw this shot during the end of the game...wow they look alike!
Chase will be 18 tomorrow and he had some of his dear, sweet girls bring him some balloons and along with a song! Very thoughtful! So happy Aunt Missy was able to make the game!! Thanks Miss~ I know you were beat!
Indians won 31-14......What a great start!!!!
