Happy Valentine's Day

I do not need to go into detail because if you read our blog and you obviously know me....YOU KNOW....I ADORE my husband. We have both had crazy times in our lives but we are meant for each other and I would do it all over again, if I knew he was my prize. We hung out with each other in St. Aug. I had a hurt neck/back..taking meds and he had sore legs and stomach from the marathon, what a pair. He treats me special all the time but it was still nice to have him all to myself. My wish is that everyone feels as loved as I do on a daily basis.

Varsity Football Banquet

Our Boys of Fall.........
What FUN!!!! It's so difficult to comprehen that I have only ONE more year to watch my son and his friends. I KNOW I will not be ok this time next year. I'm not ready, not in the least. I will as well as everyone else involved, savor every moment and memory. It has been a pleasure to be with our special families through the years... traveling to the fields...sitting in the stands...eating concession stand food...and 'high fiving' after awesome plays. To my senior players families.....it has been priceless! Come out next year to watch!! We'd LOVE to see you! Go Indians!!!!!
Chase was awarded a Second Team All Area award from the Gainesville Sun.... Evan too!!

I know it made it extra special that his dad was giving him the award. That is something he will never forget.
Chase also got Second Team All Area for the Clay Today. I AM SOOO PROUD!!

This was actually a funny moment....Chase's dad came out with Chase's leather letterman jacket on. It was a great moment for Chase!

SOOOOO HANDSOME!!!!
They've waited a long time for this moment. MANY HOURS PUT IN...

Donna Deegan 26.2----GOOOOO John!!!

I could not be more proud of John!! He is such an amazing person inside and out. I am blessed!

My honey is tired...but not too tired to give me a grin! He was happy to see me!

He crossed the finish line at 4 HOURS AND 24 MINUTES!!!!! INCREDIBLE!
I was yelling so loud for John...the finish line is in sight!!!!!!!!
He was going strong at mile 20.....He was averaging a 9 min. mile...insane!!!!!
Warming up at mile 6....
I took this for those who have never seen so many people....for one main goal....TO FINISH BREAST CANCER!!!! Runners as far as the eye can see..
Locking up our bikes at 6:30 am.....Did I mention..I was in pain and freezing!John is more than ready to make his goal of 4 hours. I think he is awesome. We are about to ride our bikes to the start line and it is FRRRREEEEZZZING!! Gooooo John!

John was getting ready at 3:30am. Thanks Evan for the hot pants! He will wear them proud. We had been up since 2am. I hurt myself earlier in the week and I could not sleep so we decided to just charge it. We were going to do something different this year. We were going to park about 3 miles away and ride our bikes to the start line as opposed to waiting for a shuttle bus. It turned out ok....I think we will do it again next year.
