Christmas Eve 2010

I'm a lucky girl........What do you think???

I am multi-tasking tonight. Cutting up vegetables..uploading pictures......doing Christmas stuff...uploading pictures!! Chase and I went to church. My main man was working:( and the kids were having Christmas with their mom's side. We had a beautiful candlelight service. I got to spend some time with Karen and the kids. Each of them are very special to me. I love that family.

After church, we went to Ryan and Celena's. We have SO much fun with them. That is my home away from home. We had so many laughs. It was the entire gang minus John and the kids...however Angie was nice enough to bring Cait and Ty out to me when they were finished. Everyone was very thankful. My best Friend.... Thanks for the wonderful memories!

We were unpacking a box...putting up Christmas decorations...unpacking a box!!!! The boys were not too happy with me but that is life..right??? That is my personality as everyone knows. The house looks good for just have moved in.

A New Chapter...

Our family is finally living in a house that is new to all of us. We have been residing in homes that belonged to us with our ex's. We have not sold John's house in Palatka. We are still faithful that the right family will come along. We are renting a house in Keystone. We just feel that we need to be closer. Chase has a year and a half left and 30 minutes was too far. I need to have his friends here==for dinner, watching movies or football and just to laugh. Time is essential to me and I need to make the most of it. Please pray for a buyer...that would relieve some stress. The house belongs to good friends of mine. I actually was in this same house throughout elementary and high school. Me and my friends had good laughs here. It is pretty strange to be in this house with all of our stuff. I have had my belongings in boxes for 2 1/2 years now. It was like an early Christmas for me. I loved getting all of my things out. Plus, were stored all of our wedding gifts. so that was awesome! It was a lot of work to get it ready to move in. Ryan came over and helped John clean out the garage and Celena--once again-- came through with cleaning the kitchen. :) It was spotless!! We have a large living room. It will be great fun. There is a HUGE pool with a diving board. We can't wait until summer. There will be good times, FOR SURE! I hope to have you over for a visit! Life is good and we are happy!

I love basketball season. I'm not sure why. It might be because it is so fast paced--basket for basket. It could be that Chase is very good at being aggressive--sometimes scary. It might be that it is indoors and we are NOT bundled up :) Probably a little bit of each. I love when he looks up into the stands and gives me a 'chin up'. He know we are there cheering him on. I'm sadden that it will be ending soon but still enjoying every game and being thankful.

Now that my brother is back in town, they get to watch him play. Chason is my brother's step son! He loves CHASE!!

Happy Birthday, my friend! There is not enough space or time to go into detail about our relationship.But the people that know us, already know that. You are one of the greatest people I know--for many reasons. You are so caring and thoughtful. You just make the days brighter. We've grow up together-so to speak. We have been through the good and the bad--side by side. You truly know my heart--inside and out!! I've never known anyone like you. You and I can be COMPLETELY honest and know that is comes only from LOVE!!! We have SO much fun together. It can be the major family holidays, floating in the pool, chatting on the phone, venting about school or just sitting in the living room laughing with our glasses of tea:)I laugh when think of some of our late night/early morning shopping trips or meeting to watch Miss America ~ there are too many others to list. These are the memories that I cherish the most. In the end, you really only have family to count on. We have said hundreds of times that you only have a few people that you can truly count on. Celena~ You are that person for me. 18 years ago, we started a friendship. Through my marriage to Rick I got 2 things....to a be a mother to my sweet son and to call you family!!!!!! I would do it all again. I thank God for you and your family! My life is better because of you and your family. Thank you for letting me be an Aunt and loving Nolan and Haley. I cherish our times together. I do not take you for granted. I pray that this is your best year yet. I am looking forward to when we are old ladies getting our toes done and going to lunch at the Olive Garden! Happy Birthday Girl! I love ya!!!!!!!
