Aunt Renee was in town and luckily got to see Chase play. We were so glad to see her and spend some time with her! We missed Greg though :( Hopefully, we will make it to Tampa soon.Chase's biggest fans-----besides his parents!!!!!! G and Pa are sooooooooooooo wonderful. They support Chase, well all our kids, in EVERYTHING THEY DO! We couldn't ask for anything more. It is so great to have them at all of the games~ It means a lot! Such a cute picture too! The 3 dorks!!! Caitlin and Tyler support Chase too! You guys are adorable!

This game was at Ridgeview High over Spring Break. Chase got a ball that took a bad hop. I was glad that it missed his face!

Chase was the cut-off guy and threw the player out at home! Good work!!

Chase got a great hit! He made it home to score a run for the Indians.

Dance Competition at UNF on Sunday

We took a trip to Kohls before we headed back to UNF for the second day of dance. My family was being silly by getting in the one of the carts.

Caitlin was in the large production of "Annie". This was a great performance. They won First Place for this routine as well as FIRST PLACE OVERALL!!!!!! GREAT JOB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We had some extra time between her dance and the awards so they were playing in the grass area to get out some bottled up energy. We have some cute kids!!

Caitlin's Dance Competition on Saturday at UNF

Caitlin had her annual dance competition at UNF on the same day as Chase had his baseball tournament. Thank goodness that they both were in Jacksonville so that we could make it to all of it. John took off work to be there to support both of our kids!

Caitlin danced to "This is Me". She looked so beautiful on stage. Her dance team won First Place!!

Caitlin has so much fun when she dances to hip hop music! They danced to the song "Wobble" and they won First Place in their age group. Way to go girls!

Caitlin's dance team did a tap dance to the song "Rip It Up". They brought home a Second Place ribbon for that routine.

Caitlin looks so cute when she does this part of the routine in Newesis. They did amazing and brought home another First Place.

Caitlin and Maddie were accepting their First Place award for their duet to "The Nicest Kids in Town" We missed this routine at competition. We were at the baseball grounds at Chase's game! Sorry sis~ we know you did wonderful! We are so proud of you and all that you are!

Tournament of Champions. Jacksonville

The Keystone baseball was invited to play in the Tournament of Champions. This is a tournament for teams that won the state title last year. We were the runner up and got the extra spot in the tournament. The teams they played were good but we were just as good if not better than a few teams. They played Bishop Kenny on Friday night. We were up in entire game and had a horrible inning in the 5th. We lost that night.

We played at Providence the next morning. They didn't play there best that game either. We lost and had to play at 1 pm at the beautiful Jacksonville Baseball Grounds. This is were the Suns play.

This is a picture of CHASE ON THE PITCHERS MOUND, STARTING FOR KEYSTONE AT THE BASEBALLS GROUNDS! What an exciting time for Chase!! We are sooooo proud of him! He is an amazing athlete. It was crazy to see him out there! It doesn't seem quite right that he is that old to be out there.

They played a wonderful game! They won 9-8. We finished up with baseball and had to go to UNF for Caitlin's dance competition. We had a full day ahead of us!

Save Our Schools

John, Caitlin and Tyler came over on Friday afternoon to rally with me and other teachers in Keystone. We were rallying for public awareness in light of the devastating budget cuts to our Florida schools. Thanks guys for your support!!!

Chase's Baseball-March 2009

Tyler is being a good sport at Chase's game. He is always wanting something from the concession stand. Another ballpark dinner!

Caitlin got to show off some of her amazing talent performing in the Azalea Parade in downtown Palatka. After that, we took the kids and Maddie to the beach for the day. It was a beautiful day. The water was freezing.......however, that did not stop the kids! We had such a fun day!
