Tournament of Champions. Jacksonville

The Keystone baseball was invited to play in the Tournament of Champions. This is a tournament for teams that won the state title last year. We were the runner up and got the extra spot in the tournament. The teams they played were good but we were just as good if not better than a few teams. They played Bishop Kenny on Friday night. We were up in entire game and had a horrible inning in the 5th. We lost that night.

We played at Providence the next morning. They didn't play there best that game either. We lost and had to play at 1 pm at the beautiful Jacksonville Baseball Grounds. This is were the Suns play.

This is a picture of CHASE ON THE PITCHERS MOUND, STARTING FOR KEYSTONE AT THE BASEBALLS GROUNDS! What an exciting time for Chase!! We are sooooo proud of him! He is an amazing athlete. It was crazy to see him out there! It doesn't seem quite right that he is that old to be out there.

They played a wonderful game! They won 9-8. We finished up with baseball and had to go to UNF for Caitlin's dance competition. We had a full day ahead of us!

Putnam County Fair

Caitlin got to perform at the fair. She performed with her tap class to"Rip It Up".

Caitlin and Maddie performed their duet together! They did AWESOME!!

The Gate River Run

John ran the River Run (9 miles) in 76 mins!! WOW, Honey---we are proud of you!

Tyler ran the 1 mile in 9:12. Great job, Ty!!! He was accompanied by Chase.

It was a long day especially driving to Jacksonville the night before after Chase's baseball game. We had lots of fun and everyone had worked very hard to make their goal. I am very proud of you all! :)

Save Our Schools

John, Caitlin and Tyler came over on Friday afternoon to rally with me and other teachers in Keystone. We were rallying for public awareness in light of the devastating budget cuts to our Florida schools. Thanks guys for your support!!!

Chase's Baseball-March 2009

Tyler is being a good sport at Chase's game. He is always wanting something from the concession stand. Another ballpark dinner!

Caitlin got to show off some of her amazing talent performing in the Azalea Parade in downtown Palatka. After that, we took the kids and Maddie to the beach for the day. It was a beautiful day. The water was freezing.......however, that did not stop the kids! We had such a fun day!
