Thoughts
I was on my way home today and I saw a HORRIBLE accident. Chase was only 15 mins behind me. You could not even recognize the vehicle. A telephone pole was almost knocked over. I prayed for the family as passed. I thought about my dear friends--Kim and Cathy, they were in a serious accident almost in that same spot--by the tower. A friend of John's told him that it was a boy that just turned 16 not too long! He is in the hospital and they are not sure if he will make it. Tears rolled down my face when I heard that. It is too real for me since Chase is on that road a lot. Death is all around and I know that. My friend just lost her husband, her best friend~ in a plane accident. GOD IS GOOD and I know He has a plan. Pray for my son who drives daily!

New Years Eve 2009
We had a wonderful end to 2009. We met Sam and Sandy for lunch. We had such a wonderful time. They are so special to me and I can't wait until they are here for good. Later that night we went to Ryan and Celena's. The kids played Rock Band and had a great time. There was s'mores, fireworks and fun. We rang in the new year watching the ball drop. Our goal is to be in New York on New Years before we die....we'll see!!!!

Brrrrrrr!!!
We wanted to take the kids somewhere fun over our Christmas break. I have been wanting to see this for a few years and when Celena went last year...I really wanted to go. We did not tell the kids where we were going. We did tell them that is was. not an amusement park so they would not be disappointed. Caitlin must have asked a million questions. Chase was wanting to know too. Here are a few of the guesses they made: A garden thingy (Cait), Land Rover shopping????? (Chase), Blue man Group (Ty), Hiking, Skydiving (Ty), wanted to know if Chase's shoe would get dirty? Finally, we arrived. They were excited. I knew what it was but I had NO IDEA of the detail and massive size of the sculptures. The pictures do not really show how awesome it was. EVERYTHING you see in these pictures are of ICE....truly massive, gigantic blocks of ICE! It was truly unbelievable. If you ever get the chance to go....DO IT! It is worth it.

This was the entrance and it was VERY tall overhead.
I know what an Eskimo feels like. The roof was ice as well.

This shows how big these piece were.
EVERYTHING was ice but the lights. When you are looking at it, you really forget that it is all ice.

Remember, this is all ICE!! So CRAZY!!! These pieces were SO HUGE!

This was a huge slide made of ice. It was so big. We all took a ride!
Me and my sweetie!!! I love him sooooooooooooooo!
